Job summary

Behavioral Health Group - BHG is seeking a compassionate Counselor to provide counseling for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. You will conduct intake, establish treatment plans, and connect patients with resources to support their recovery journey.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with the team, and adherence to state regulations. A Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications are required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Meet state-level requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Services or related field.
• CADC-I/CADC/LCAS, or LCAS-A certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling for people recovering from drug use and alcohol disorders.
• Welcome new and returning patients through intake and orientation.
• Connect patients with community resources and assist access to support.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans and maintain patient records.
• Follow up on referrals and comply with regulatory requirements.
