New Season Treatment Centers seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to deliver individual, group, and family counseling as part of a collaborative treatment team. You will identify clinical needs and support patients’ overall well-being in a community setting focused on opioid use disorder.

Qualifications

• Active licensure in Missouri for counseling credentials is required.
• Experience in substance abuse field preferred but not required.
• Must have ability to document patient progress and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake admissions and discharge paperwork.
• Document patient progress through individual and group counseling.
• Develop individualized treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Provide at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment and recovery steps.
• Administer urine drug screens and collect IDs.
