Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling as part of a collaborative treatment team. You will work with a Medical Director, Program Director, and Nurses to meet patient needs and enhance overall well-being.

The organization has over 30 years of experience in outpatient care for Opioid Use Disorder and offers competitive benefits, day-one PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• CSAC with Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not required.
• State-specific requirements must be met for this position.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Provide at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
