Wood Violet Recovery in Dodgeville, WI is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) to provide individual counseling and lead group sessions in our residential treatment setting. The role emphasizes building strong therapeutic relationships, participating in treatment planning, and maintaining timely clinical documentation while supporting clients on their recovery journey.

CPR/First Aid, background checks and a valid WI license are required.

Qualifications

• Active CSAC in Wisconsin (required).
• At least 1 year of experience with substance use disorders.
• Valid WI driver's license.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Facilitate daily group substance use, educational, process, and recovery-focused groups.
• Provide timely counseling sessions to an assigned caseload of clients.
• Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients while supporting their recovery goals.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Encourage client engagement while promoting a safe, supportive therapeutic environment.

We're looking for a Substance Abuse Counselor(CSAC)who is passionate about helping people grow through connection, education, and meaningful therapeutic experiences. This role provides both individual counseling and group facilitation, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while helping them develop the skills and insight needed for lasting recovery.

Schedule:

• Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday
• 8:30am-5:00pm

What You'll Do:

• Facilitate daily group substance use, educational, process, and recovery-focused groups.
• Provide timely counseling sessions to an assigned caseload of clients.
• Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients while supporting their individual recovery goals.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Encourage client engagement while promoting a safe, supporting therapeutic environment.

What You'll Bring:

• Active CSAC in the state of Wisconsin (required).
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Valid WI Driver's License.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
