Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a senior Regional Manager in Irvine, CA to lead regional operations and drive growth across office networks. You will supervise regional managers, coordinate opportunities, and shape strategy with a strong focus on profitability and market expansion.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree, a P.E./P.G. license (or ability to obtain within six months), and a proven track record in marketing, business development, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree or related field.
• P.E. or P.G. license, or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong marketing and business development abilities and proven P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Build team-oriented relationships with office managers to provide leadership, oversight, and mentoring in seeking out business opportunities for the assigned offices.
• Monitor and track regional finances, marketing strategies, office productivity, resources, standardization, and training.
• Evaluate market opportunities, trends, and successes in other regions.
• Apply best management practices within the region where appropriate.
• Provide strategic direction and oversight of Regional Managers and Subsidiary Directors.
• Take the lead and coordinate regional business opportunities.
• Seek project leads and marketing opportunities across regions.
• Participate in trade associations and pursue regional and national contracts.
• Oversee regional market segmentation groups and promote team collaboration and resources.

• Monitor and track regional office finances (including profit/loss, accounts receivable), marketing strategies (proposal generation, rates), office productivity, resources, standardization, and training.
• Evaluate market opportunities, trends, and successes in other regions.
• Apply best management practices within the region where appropriate.

The expected pay range for this role and location is $250k - $350k/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
