Job summary

Halliburton is seeking qualified personnel to support rigging, setup, testing and operation of service line equipment on client locations both onshore and offshore.

The role requires mentoring junior operators, reviewing job plans with customers, and ensuring data quality and safety at the well site. Strong math, reading and writing skills and 6+ years in oil field drilling are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
• High school diploma with 6+ years in oil field drilling, including 4+ years in underbalanced or managed pressure drilling.
• Must meet minimum competency requirements for Svc Spec II-GBA.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging up/down of service line equipment on on- and offshore locations.
• Plan equipment setup, well site direction, and customer support activities.
• Maintain, set up, test, and operate equipment at customer sites and field camps.
• Mentor and train lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants.
• Monitor instruments and verify data quality at the well.
• Consult with customers and promote customer satisfaction at the well site.
• Check equipment per job plan and complete all job documentation.
• Conduct pre-job toolbox safety meetings and verify the job plan with the customer.
