Job summary
Baker Hughes in Houston is seeking a Field Specialist - LWI to lead subsea service projects offshore, coordinating crews and equipment across mobilization, hookup, and testing.
You will monitor well control conditions, supervise subsea ops, and drive improvements to procedures and equipment specs in line with client programs.
The role requires strong communication, 5+ years in oil & gas services, and IWCF Level 4 certification, with work offshore or at client sites from our Houston base.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in oil & gas services environment.
- IWCF Level 4 certificate required.
- Strong subsea and hydraulic/electronics background.
- Ability to lead teams offshore and coordinate complex operations.
- Good communication and safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead subsea service projects for external and internal customers.
- Oversee mobilization, hookup, testing of subsea equipment.
- Monitor well control conditions and supervise subsea ops.
- Ensure procedures and equipment specs meet client program.
- Record operations data and lessons learned; comply with HSE.
