Job summary

SubCom is seeking a Cable Splicer to support shipboard cable installation and repair projects, including travel across domestic and international assignments. You will work with jointing equipment, perform quality inspections, and assist in operation and reporting tasks on board vessels or shore facilities.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in cable splicing, jointing, and related MS Office tools, with willingness to travel as required by project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in cable splicing and jointing operations.
• Ability to travel domestically and abroad for project work.
• Familiarity with inspection and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipboard cable splicing, jointing, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor inventory; assist in CAB splicer operations and reports.
• Ensure training records are up to date and comply with project requirements.
