Fortegra is seeking a Claim Adjuster, Subrogation to support recovery efforts focusing on deductible and Self-Insured Retention (SIR) collections from insured customers, tender expense recoveries, and auto subrogation. This role reports to the Subrogation Unit manager and collaborates with internal claims teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a background in insurance, collections, or subrogation, and strong organizational skills for a disciplined

Qualificações

• Experience in insurance, collections, subrogation or related field.
• Ability to manage accounts and communicate professionally with customers.
• Familiarity with deductible and SIR structures is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and pursue deductible and SIR recovery opportunities by reviewing claim files and policy provisions.
• Collaborate with primary claims adjusters and Subrogation Unit to coordinate recovery efforts.
• Initiate and manage collections for deductible and SIR balances, with consistent follow-up.
• Pursue tender expense recoveries in applicable Casualty claims and escalate as directed.
• Maintain organized records of collection activity and account status.
• Issue written demand correspondence to insureds and communicate payment expectations.
• Handle auto subrogation files from identification through resolution.
• Demonstrate flexibility, manage a varied portfolio, and meet recovery milestones.
• Participate in claim reviews and audits; perform other duties as assigned.
