Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Document Control Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on managing documentation for external submission to customers, third parties, and state agencies.

You will ensure accuracy and timely distribution of submittals, work with Project Managers and Engineers across Houston, Conroe, Brookfield, and Youngstown, and uphold Quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years’ experience in document control, quality, or project coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document control systems and customer portals.
• Familiarity with technical documentation such as spec sheets, inspection reports, and engineering drawings.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Alignment with company core values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit final documentation packages (Data Books/Quality Data Packages/IOMs) per purchase order or project requirements.
• Manage in-process submittals using templates and customer portals or document control systems.
• Coordinate and submit monthly reports to state and third-party agencies per certification requirements.
• Submit state approval packages after release from Engineering.
• Work cross-functionally with Project Managers, Engineers, and Project Coordinators across multiple locations to gather and organize documentation.
• Ensure documentation practices align with Quality department standards.
