Job summary

CACI is seeking a Part-Time Submarine Systems Engineer to support submarine rescue and mobility platforms at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. The role requires an ABET-accredited Engineering degree and 10 years of submarine or deep submergence experience, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

The position involves developing and reviewing job summaries and TGIs, supporting 688/774 class submarine projects, and performing complex engineering calculations.

Qualifications

• Must have ABET-accredited Engineering degree and 10 years of submarine/deep submergence experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of US Navy Shipyard applications including AIM.
• Capable of performing complex engineering calculations (heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, mechanical stress).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create and review Job Summaries and TGIs.
• Assist with Deficiency Form issues and preparing Sales Costs estimates.
• Support 688 Class and 774 Class Submarine engineering and Deep Submergence projects.
