Job summary

Trident Refit Facility Bangor is hiring for a Ship Superintendent, on-site in Silverdale, WA. The role requires coordinating between TRFB management and the ship's command, and adjusting repair priorities in real time to meet fleet needs.

The incumbent will apply deep knowledge of submarine systems, repair procedures, and shipyard operations, including TRIDENT class specs, and will help develop Critical Path and Controlling Path schedules to mitigate delays.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of submarine systems and repair procedures.
• Experience developing and managing Critical Path and Controlling Path schedules.
• Ability to persuade and negotiate repair priorities during unplanned repairs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as direct liaison between TRFB management and ship's command.
• Make on-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities based on fleet schedule changes.
• Recommend strategies to resolve production delays and scheduling conflicts.
