Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking a Program Representative I to support the Special Projects Program Office for Ship Alterations on the SSN-23 program. You will manage budgeting, cost control, planning, scheduling, and execution across Navy contracts.

You will collaborate with design, engineering and procurement teams, develop estimates for new work, and coordinate with Groton management, off-site offices and NAVSEA to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED is required.
1+ years submarine program experience.
2+ years program office experience (tasking, tracking, funding, scheduling, or reporting).
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Preferred: 2-4 year degree or equivalent; familiarity with EB programs and tools; earned value management experience.

Responsibilities

Interface with Navy customers and Groton management.
Develop estimates for obtaining new work, procurement of material, manufacturing, etc.
Budgeting, cost control, planning, scheduling, and execution of all assigned projects.
Interface with Groton management, off-site project offices and contract representatives, as well as NAVSEA Program Office.
