Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is looking for a Program Representative to coordinate, manage, and execute Maintenance & Modernization work via contracts with NAVSEA, NUWC, and other sponsors. The role includes planning, scheduling, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across Groton and remote sites.

You will interact with planning, operations, engineering, purchasing, test, and finance teams to resolve issues and keep programs on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 5+ years of experience within EB departments such as Program office, Operations, Engineering, Planning, Contracts, Finance, Ship's Management or combination thereof.
• Periodic travel to off-site locations may be required.
• Preferred: BS degree or higher in Engineering; EB Overhaul and Repair experience; project management and cost performance metrics experience; knowledge of submarine maintenance and availability certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and execute Maintenance & Modernization work via contracts to NAVSEA, NUWC, and other sponsors and partners.
• Develop and implement strategies to win competitive solicitations and plan maintenance availabilities.
• Coordinate work in Groton, at off-site locations, between EB sites and subcontractors; manage schedule, cost, and quality.
• Resolve emergent issues to support scheduled work; manage work papers, materials, and GFI/GFE.
• Travel up to 10% to other shipyards in the continental US, Hawaii, or the Far East.
• Engage with management across planning, operations, engineering, purchasing, test, contracts, finance, ship's force, SUPSHIP Groton, and PMS 392.
• Support modernization work and ensure work is performed safely, on time, on budget, with requisite quality.
