Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a Program Representative to coordinate Maintenance & Modernization work under NAVSEA contracts, with occasional travel to off-site locations. Primary focus is the USS Hartford EOH, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget execution.

You will engage with planning, engineering, contracts, finance, ship’s force, and subcontractors, delivering effective program management and technical oversight in a fast-paced submarine environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in EB departments such as Program office, Operations, Engineering, Planning, Contracts, Finance, Ship's Management or combination thereof.
• Willingness to travel to off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and execute Maintenance & Modernization work via contracts to NAVSEA, NUWC, and other sponsors and partners.
• Develop and implement strategies to win competitive solicitations and plan maintenance availabilities.
• Coordinate work across Groton, off-site locations, EB sites and subcontractors, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with required quality.
• Engage with management at all levels to report progress, resolve issues, and obtain support from functional groups.
