Job summary

VTG is seeking a Submarine Platform Lead to support submarine installations. You will perform advanced technical support, review drawings, and guide junior technicians while ensuring compliance with government and customer standards.

Travel may be extensive, and a secret clearance is required for successful applicants. The role requires a Bachelor's degree plus several years of experience or an equivalent combination, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor's degree plus five years related experience, or an Associate's degree plus nine years, or a high school diploma with twelve years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation tasks on submarine platforms and ensure tasks meet work statements.
• Review engineering drawings, instructions and blueprints for completeness and standards.
• Provide technical support on advanced installations and troubleshoot issues to meet specs.
• Coordinate installation activities for equipment testing, calibration, and data collection.
• May supervise junior technicians and act as team lead on routine installations.
