Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician for on-site work at JEB Little Creek, VA. The role supports maintenance, QA, troubleshooting on submarine projects and provides technical oversight.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation and testing of advanced submarine technology, evaluating deficiencies, rigging and handling operations, and providing project status updates. A Secret clearance is required; military submersible experience is preferred.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED with 6 years related experience.
BA/BS with 2 years related experience.
Minimum 6 years technical experience, supply chain administration, and MS Office usage.
Secret level Clearance required.
Prior submarine/military submersible technical experience preferred.
Must complete NSWG-8 IMD rigging and handling qualifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance, QA, troubleshooting and technical expertise to ensure work meets specs.
Provides technical oversight and supervision of maintenance.
Assist with installation and testing of advanced submarine technology.
Assist with evaluation of deficiencies and sustainability of submarine systems.
Assist with rigging and handling evolutions to support mission requirements.
Provide project status and work updates as necessary.
