Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in Honolulu, HI, seeks Material Coordinators for the EB Pacific Maintenance & Modernization Site. You will perform warehouse duties to receive and dispatch materials, read blueprints, and apply precise math to ensure material control.

Must be able to work in a team, travel as required, and maintain safety. Candidates must obtain DoD Secret Clearance, be able to lift and work long shifts, and be willing to cross-train in Hazmat, label design, tool crib, wire

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ months of warehouse operations experience or equivalent inventory control experience.
• Willing to travel and work overtime & weekends as needed to support project demands, travel may be up to 1 year across the continental US or Guam.

Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch materials in the Shop/Shipyard.
• Maintain material control and segregation.
• Read blueprints and perform math to support material handling.
• Cross train in Hazmat control, label design and fabrication, tool crib & wire room duties, transportation, and trade technician helper tasks.
