Amentum is seeking a Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Technician to support modernization efforts at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The role involves hands-on maintenance, installation, and testing of EW systems such as AN/BLQ-10 ESM, ensuring submarines remain mission-ready.

A Secret clearance is required, with on-site work and no relocation assist. Applicants with military to civilian transition experience are encouraged.

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of practical experience, or an applicable degree/training with 3 years.
• Senior level: 10 years with diploma/10 yrs OR degree + 6 years.
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair of C5I/NC3 systems/equipment.
• Experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents/drawings.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and service SWFTS Tech-Insertion & APB cycles of AN/BLQ-10 ESM systems at naval sites.
• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and testing of EW equipment.
• Support engineering teams with system upgrades, certifications, and validations.
• Review change proposals and execute engineering change instructions.

What You'll Do

• Install, monitor, and service SWFTS Tech-Insertion & APB cycles of AN/BLQ-10 ESM systems at Naval sites

Minimum Requirements

• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret Clearance.

• Mid-Level Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years of practical experience, OR an applicable degree/formal electronics training combined with three (3) years of practical experience

• Senior-Level Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of practical experience, OR an applicable degree/formal electronics training combined with six (6) years of practical experience

• Practical experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair of C5I and/or NC3 systems/equipment.

• Experience in the maintenance/repair and/or installation disciplines.

• Experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents, and drawings.

• Excellent communications and analytical skills.

• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge across multiple submarine platforms and SWFTS systems.

• SSEP ESM Groom Team experience

• Former Navy Submarine or Electronic Warfare Technicians (ET, EW, or equivalent).

• Direct experience with AN/BLQ-10 systems required.

• Strong background in sonar, radar, cryptologic, or tactical communications systems.

• Problem-solver with the ability to perform under pressure and thrive in collaborative environments.

Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:

This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.

Compensation Details:

$23.87 - $50.00 Hourly
