About the Company

Serve as an NG911 ESInet Subject Matter Expert. Support Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) network infrastructure, call-handling systems, and mission-critical communications.

About the Role

Provide technical leadership during configuration, integration, testing, and upgrade phases of Class 1, 2, and 3 ESInet systems for Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).

Responsibilities

• Define and document ESInet network architecture and infrastructure.
• Validate NG911 core functions against standards.
• Participate in ESInet architecture breakout sessions.
• Ensure compliance with NENA and APCO standards.
• Support configuration, testing, and validation of ESInet and call-handling systems.
• Provide technical guidance during system upgrades and modernization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years as a Lead Network Engineer.

Required Skills

• Disaster Recovery & Redundancy: Design and implement redundant systems, contingency planning.
• Networking Technologies: TCP/IP, UDP, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• NG911 & Mission-Critical Systems: Enterprise integration and design of 9-1-1 systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Emergency Communication Systems: CAD, EMS applications.
• Network & Security Technologies: Oracle SBC, B2BUA, Palo Alto firewalls.
• Certifications: CCIE or equivalent.
• Engineering & Architecture expertise in voice/data network development and carrier-grade networking.

Compensation and Schedule

Pay range: $150,000.00-$170,000.00

Work Schedule: 35 hours/week.
