Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a 911 Network Planning Engineer II for a remote, 12-month contract to design, deploy, and optimize mission-critical 911 and NG911 networks. You will manage DS0/DS1 and SIP circuit installations, support planning, upgrades, and maintenance, and collaborate with PSAPs, LECs, and NG911 partners to ensure reliability and resiliency.

• 6+ years of experience in 911 networking, telecom network planning, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of legacy 911 and NG911 architectures.
• Experience with TDM and SIP circuit planning and provisioning.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams and design resilient routing solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
