Job summary

i3 is seeking a Subject Matter Expert for Gray Eagle UAS to support the RVCT training solution for the Army in Huntsville, AL. You will collaborate with Army customers to define requirements, decompose them for Agile development, and assist with verification, integration, and training of the training system.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, an active SECRET clearance, and prior Gray Eagle IO experience or IO course graduation. Local relocation and occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–10 years of experience, or 4 years substituted for degree.
• U.S. Citizen with an Active SECRET clearance.
• Experience as Gray Eagle UAS Instructor Operator or Graduate of IO Course.

Responsibilities

• Define, capture, derive, and prioritize RVCT training requirements with Army customer.
• Decompose requirements for Agile/SCRUM development and support verification, integration, test, documentation, delivery, and training.
• Provide SME guidance on UAS operations and functionality to development and leadership teams.

Job description

i3 is looking for a Subject Matter Expert Gray Eagle UAS to support the development of the UAS portion of the Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer (RVCT) for the Army in the Huntsville, AL. Candidate will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment with multiple contractors and teaming partners and must be self-motivated, reliable, dependable, flexible, and have excellent interpersonal and verbal / written / presentation communication skills.

• Support collaboration with the Army customer to define, capture, derive, and prioritize applicable requirements for the RVCT training solution.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support requirement decomposition for implementation following an Agile/SCRUM development process.
• Assist with verification, integration, test, documentation, delivery and training of the training solution.
• Provide subject matter expertise regarding UAS operations and required functionality to development and leadership teams.
• Bachelor’s degree AND 3-10 years or more experience; four years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• U.S. Citizen with an Active SECRET clearance.
• Familiar with agile project management to include terminology.
• Experience as Gray Eagle UAS Instructor Operator. (Graduate of the Instructor Operator (IO) Course).
• Experience with UAV ground control stations (GCS) and familiarity with UAVs/simulators. (500 Hours Logged as IO in the sim and 250 hours logged as IO or AC in the Aircraft preferred).
• Knowledgeable of UAS training simulators and UAS terminology.
• Must be local to Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate and willing to travel as needed for program requirement.
