Qualifications

• Idaho teaching certificate with endorsements required.
• Strong background in teaching methods and classroom management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter and effective teaching methods.
• Knowledge of Idaho Core Standards.
• Experience integrating technology with instruction.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ability to work with students, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and prepare for assigned classes.
• Design lessons with appropriate level of difficulty that provide content in a logical and sequential manner.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media.
• Meet and instruct classes as scheduled.
• Identify pupil needs and provide instruction appropriate to those needs.
• Analyze and interpret student data to develop and modify instructional activities.
• Follow modifications and accommodations as specified in IEPs.
• Implement the Idaho Core Standards in lesson plans, classroom instruction, and assessments.
• Devise assignments and tests that require analytical thinking and evaluate student progress.
