Job summary

Role emphasizes coordinating with multiple departments to meet production schedules, improve efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance, with a requirement for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in operations or related area; substitution rules may apply for experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Proficient negotiation skills.
• Candidate must have Supply Chain Management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of subcontracts specialists and managers.
• Oversee all phases of the subcontract lifecycle—sourcing, proposal, negotiation, contract admin, closeout.
• Drive negotiation of subcontractor pricing, schedules, terms, and milestones.
• Develop and manage a robust supply base to meet program needs.
• Identify strategies to reduce cost and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with program management, contracts, legal, and leadership to align activities.
• Advise leadership on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation.
• Develop material plans, forecasts, and capital or facility requests.
• Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs for transparency and improvement.
