Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Subcontracts Specialist to support Prime Contracts with subcontractor activity of moderate value and complexity, with limited oversight and direction. The role requires close collaboration across PM, Contracts, Finance, Accounting, and customers.

The ideal candidate will manage RFPs, evaluate proposals, conduct price analyses, and negotiate terms with subcontractors, while maintaining documentation for audits and ensuring flow-down compliance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 4+ years in subcontract or contract administration
• MS w/ 6+ years of progressive experience preferred
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and government acquisition process is required
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe required
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Motivated self-starter who can work with minimal oversight and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving are critical

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface between subcontractors and Precise for contractual issues
• Interface with Program Management, Contracts, Project Finance, Accounting, Business Development and Precise Customers
• Attend and serve as Subcontract representative at program/project meetings
• Create moderate complexity RFP solicitations per Government and Precise requirements
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals
• Conduct price and cost analyses
• Participate and sometimes lead negotiation of pricing and terms with subcontractors
• Issue and administer subcontracts with flow-down from Prime Contract
• Maintain subcontractor file documentation for audits
• Identify and resolve moderate issues on assigned subcontracts
• Perform subcontract close-out activities
• Negotiate non-disclosure agreements
• Support Precise proposal activity of moderate complexity and value
