Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks an experienced Contract Subcontracts Administrator familiar with engineering, procurement and construction contracts on large energy projects to administer construction subcontracts and support the project team. The role is located in Cameron, LA and reports to the Manager of Subcontracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional contract/subcontracts experience.
• Minimum 3 years in engineering/construction subcontracting for oil and gas.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in Louisiana.
• Knowledge of contract agreements, legal requirements, invoicing and change order processes.
• Strong written communication for drafting simple legal documents.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer all phases of construction subcontracts.
• Prepare subcontract plans and bidder qualification.
• Source subcontractors and perform bidders’ qualification with HSE and QA/QC teams.
• Ensure timely technical inputs for subcontract awards and minimize post-award changes.
• Develop and issue RFQs with expanded scope and project schedule.
• Review RFQ package documents for completeness prior to issue.
• Receive and analyze proposals and support negotiations of terms with legal teams.
• Obtain NDAs from bidders/subcontractors as required.
• Attend subcontract pre-award and project kick-off meetings.
• Prepare Subcontract Bid Assessments for award approval.
• Support subcontract execution following company guidelines.
• Track subcontract document lists with Document Control.
• Review quantity assessments for invoice validation and productivity.
• Ensure subcontractor insurance is in place before work.
• Attend site construction meetings as required.
• Support change order management with stakeholders.
• Monitor and review subcontractor invoices.
• Obtain lien releases and completion certificates.
