Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly talented Subcontracts Administrator II to support multiple West Region Business Lines. This is a remote/virtual position with the possibility of going into the closest AECOM office 2-3 days a week. The position can be based anywhere within the West Region, with preferred locations including Minneapolis, MN; Austin, TX; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Los Angeles, CA; Oakland, CA; Sacramento, CA; or Chicago, IL.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Follow and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
  2. Develop understanding of subcontracting terminology, measures, concepts, principles, and strategies.
  3. Build relationships internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers.
  4. Present subcontracting and procurement processes effectively to stakeholders.
  5. Challenge projects that depart from procurement principles.
  6. Perform subcontracting and procurement functions, including preparing RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, purchase orders, and agreements.
  7. Negotiate deviations and maintain documentation.
  8. Perform market analysis and evaluate proposals.
  9. Develop and execute subcontracting and procurement strategies to achieve savings.
  10. Assist in preparing client approval packages and review invoices for discrepancies.
  11. Evaluate disputes with suppliers.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two years of experience in subcontracting or related field, or equivalent experience/education.
  • Understanding of contracting and procurement terminology and principles.
  • US Citizenship due to nature of work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, construction management, economics, or similar.
  • Over 3 years of experience in subcontracting or related functions.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, working in consulting engineering or professional services, and in global or Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
Additional Information

US Citizenship is required. No relocation or per diem offered. Salary range for Colorado locations is $53,427 - $73,462 annually. AECOM offers comprehensive benefits and a flexible, hybrid work environment. We promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and support career growth and development.
