POSITION SUMMARY

The Subcontractor Operations Manager issues purchase orders, subcontracts, and service agreements timely. Assists with subcontractor defaults, including managing insurance claims, and supports operational compliance audits as needed.

• Reviews contract documents, drawings, specifications, addenda, estimates, and subcontractor/supplier quotes.
• Approves templates for subcontracts, purchase orders, and service agreements.
• Prepares, reviews, revises, and issues purchase orders, subcontracts, and service agreements.
• Negotiates terms with subcontractors and suppliers under legal counsel guidance.
• Conducts project audits for compliance with subcontract terms and operational standards.
• Supports projects with subcontractor claims and defaults.
• Travel across North America to company and client sites as required.
• Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality.

Management Responsibilities

May be assigned by the Subcontractor Operations Director.

Additional Duties

• Prioritize safety, including wearing PPE in the field.
• Meet deadlines, adhere to policies, and maintain good attendance.
• Ensure client satisfaction through professional issue resolution.
• Assist colleagues and perform other duties as assigned.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and project management software.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Interpret technical and regulatory documents.
• Write reports, correspondence, and manuals.
• Perform mathematical calculations and apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Identify problems, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
• Manage time and organize duties efficiently.
• Use relevant software tools effectively.

Education and Experience

Associate degree and 2-4 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
