Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a senior Project Manager for Property and Casualty Insurance in Iselin, NJ. This is a hybrid role with three days per week on client site, requiring strong domain knowledge and hands-on delivery leadership.

You will lead end-to-end technology programs across policy admin, claims, billing, underwriting, and data migration, coordinating client stakeholders, SI partners, vendors, and offshore teams to ensure timely, quality execution.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of PM experience in Property and Casualty insurance domain.
• Experience delivering insurance technology implementations or transformations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of P&C IT projects (scope, schedule, budget, resources).
• Drive platform modernization, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead planning, sprint execution, milestones, dependencies, and releases.
• Establish governance, dashboards, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, technical, testing, data, and integration workstreams.

Experience:

• 10 to 15 years of overall IT experience.
• 5 plus years of experience managing projects/programs within the Property and Casualty insurance domain.
• Proven experience delivering insurance technology implementation, modernization, enhancement, or transformation programs.

Role Summary

The Property and Casualty Insurance Project Manager will lead end to end delivery of technology programs within the Property and Casualty insurance domain. This is an on-site, client-facing role requiring strong insurance domain understanding, stakeholder management, delivery governance, and hands‑on project control.

The role will involve managing initiatives across core insurance functions such as policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting, integrations, data migration, and digital transformation. The Project Manager will work closely with client business and IT stakeholders, system integrators, vendors, and offshore delivery teams to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost effective execution.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery and Program Management

• Own end-to-end delivery of Property and Casualty insurance technology projects, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and quality.
• Manage large-scale insurance implementations, platform modernization, upgrades, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.
• Drive project planning, sprint execution, milestone tracking, dependency management, and release management.
• Establish and maintain project governance, delivery metrics, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
• Ensure adherence to agreed SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Coordinate business, functional, technical, testing, data, integration, and infrastructure workstreams to ensure integrated delivery.
