Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Subcontract Specialist to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) team in Colorado. You will oversee multi-year development and production subcontracts, interface with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery of compliant products and services for complex programs.

The role requires a university degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility
• Minimum 5 years experience with supplier contracts
• Minimum 3 years experience specifically with subcontracts

Responsibilities

• Provide subcontract management strategy to meet customer obligations and comply with company policies
• Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP) and develop proposals, including teaming agreements and negotiations
• Manage subcontract terms and conditions within the overall subcontract scope
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals
• Examine cost structure estimates for labor, materials, and production costs to ensure accuracy
• Advise management on subcontract rights, obligations, and risk mitigation
• Work independently in a fast-paced, multitask environment
• Take ownership and drive execution to completion
• Escalate topics requiring management awareness
• Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams
