Sundt Construction in Morrilton, AR is seeking a Subcontract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of subcontractor relationships, from prequalification through closeout. You will lead evaluations, manage performance, and ensure compliance with schedule, quality, safety, and financial requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in subcontract management or related field, strong contract knowledge, and ability to mentor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of subcontract management, contract administration, or related construction experience.
• Ability to mentor and guide others in subcontractor management.
• Strong understanding of contracts, change management, and compliance practices.
• Experience reviewing financial and contractual documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontract negotiations and procurement strategies for new projects.
• Conduct regular subcontractor performance reviews and address performance issues promptly.
• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, prequalification, insurance, bonding, licensing, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, applicable laws, and project requirements.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Lead subcontract closeout activities, including final payments, releases, warranties, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, amendments, and supporting documentation.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and serve as the primary contact for assigned subcontractors.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against contract requirements, schedules, budgets, quality, and safety.
• Review, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Support project forecasting, cost reporting, accruals, and financial reconciliation.
• Track deliverables, milestones, submittals, invoices, and payment applications.
