As a Subcontract Administrator for Life Sciences North America, you will be responsible for contracting standard to complex professional and/or construction services. The Subcontract Administrator may act as lead on small Projects (Projects with a Total Installed Cost of $50M, or less) while using best practices and knowledge of requirements to solve basic problems and handle day-to-day Subcontracting tasks with minimal guidance and direction.
Leverage your passion and experience as you effectively and professionally conduct and coordinate procurement transactions associated with subcontracting of services as assigned. The Subcontract Administrator demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, principles and practices, and the techniques of ensuring task completion. They completely understand the role of procurement and its integration with other project functions, accomplishes value-added expectations, and performs assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The Subcontract Administrator reports directly to the Manager of Procurement Services (MOPS) for the office which they are assigned. While supporting Jacobs’ Projects, the Subcontract Administrator will report indirectly to the assigned Project Procurement Manager (PPM), Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Here's what you'll need
•Bachelor’s degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
•5+ years of experience in subcontract within a construction contracting environment
•2-5 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects is preferred.
Ideally you'll have:
•Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
•Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
•A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.

The base salary range for this position is $78,800.00 to $125,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
