Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Subcontract Administrator in Marietta, GA to develop and negotiate subcontract terms for development, production and sustainment. The role supports sourcing, contracts and purchasing activities with a focus on supplier relations and data-driven decisions.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and hands-on experience in procurement, RFIs/ RFPs, and managing supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Distribution, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics or related discipline.
• Experience with procurement/buying, purchase orders, supplier proposals, relationships, negotiations, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms/conditions for procurement of materials, equipment and services for development, production and sustainment.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders conferences, evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, and award subcontracts.
• Sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within authorized limits; coordinate changes as needed.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Subcontract Administrator. In this role, you will develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders’ conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of sourcing, operations, logistics and/or planning.

Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Distribution, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics or related discipline
• Experience of the following: procurement/buying, purchase orders, supplier proposals, managing supplier/customer relationships, negotiations, data analysis

• Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

• Written and verbal communication and organization skills

Ability To Work Remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
