Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Staff Subcontract Program Manager to lead subcontractor performance across programs. You will oversee costs, quality, and schedules, develop sourcing plans, and coordinate with the PMO to ensure contractual compliance and successful milestones.

The role may be based at Fort Worth, TX or Marietta, GA with travel up to ~10%. US citizenship and an active security clearance are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract programs, overseeing subcontractors and critical subcontracted systems.
• Manage costs, schedule, quality, and technical performance for subcontracted work.
• Develop and execute sourcing and subcontract program plans addressing capture needs.
• Act as focal point to subcontractors and the program management office (PMO).
• Direct all phases from business case to make-or-buy, RFPs, transition, and closeout.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure subcontract execution and delivery on time.

What You Will Be Doing

The Subcontract Program management, Senior Staff, leads, manages subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies. Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs, execution, and risk management. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, transition to program startup, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, and contract closeout. Makes informed decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives to manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads a cross-functional team, normally composed of engineers, quality, and procurement personnel, to ensure successful subcontract execution and program delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• Program management experience
• Supply chain management, buying, or procurement or related field
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Experience utilizing Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)
• Experience in formal project management methodologies, and systems analysis tools, processes, and methods
• Experience preparing data/metrics/charts for and presenting to Executive Leadership and/or External Customers

Desired Skills

• Experience with Certified Cost or Pricing Data and commercial contract Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines
• Experience negotiating contracts to closure and giving detailed status of negotiations in process to Executive Leadership and/or External Customers
• Experience developing long-term strategies (i.e. financial planning, leading a team, corrective action, process improvements (White, Green, or Black Belt))
• Experience working in Global Supply Chain systems, tools and analytics
• Experience with demand reconciliation
• Experience as a Team Lead for procurement and/or sourcing teams.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
