Job summary

Artivion is seeking a Component Processing Technician in Subassembly to inspect, test, and assemble heart valves in our Austin facility. You will clean, package, and visually and dimensionally inspect parts to exact specifications using microscopes and precision tools.

In this role you will operate cleaning and sealing equipment, perform in-process measurements, maintain clean room standards, and document results per procedures. A manufacturing background and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in reading drawings and handling precise components.
• Experience using a microscope for inspections.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
• Familiarity with FDA & ISO manufacturing practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect components with microscope and pass/fail decisions.
• Perform in-process measurements with calipers and digital readouts.
• Conduct leak tests, proof tests, and peel tests and record results.
• Work in a clean room to clean, package, and inspect products.
• Operate vacuum furnace and heat sealing equipment per procedures.
