Miller Subaru, part of Miller Transportation Group, is seeking a motivated Service Advisor in New Jersey. Join a family-owned dealership with over 100 years of community service and growth opportunities.

You will greet customers, assess service needs, estimate costs, and guide warranty repairs while delivering top-notch customer care. Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a service advisor, a high school diploma, a valid driver license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience as a service advisor
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–6:00 PM with some Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner
• Inspect vehicles at check-in and reference service history to identify customer needs
• Promote sales of services, parts and accessories by understanding products and requirements
• Provide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain customer authorization
• Monitor service progress and communicate changes in cost or delivery to customers
• Administer warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines
• Confirm appointments by phone the day before arrival and follow up after service
• Inspect vehicles before delivery and communicate results to customers
• Meet state and federal requirements for auto repair and consumer protection

Miller Subaru is looking for a Service Advisor to join our family-owned automotive dealership that has been serving our neighbors and community for over 100 years. Requirements

You Will:

• Greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner
• Inspect vehicles at check in and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer's service needs
• Promote the sales of appropriate services parts and accessories by thoroughly understanding the product and associated service requirements
• Provide accurate cost and time of completion estimates for the services recommended communicate and get proper authorization from customers
• Check on progress of services to vehicles throughout the day and contact customer to communicate and receive approval regarding any changes in the cost-estimate promised time of delivery or recommended services
• Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines
• Confirm service appointments by telephone the day before the customer is scheduled to arrive and conduct post-repair follow up
• Inspect vehicles prior to each customer delivery to ensure vehicle services and/or repairs are performed correctly and communicate the results with the customer
• Meet requirements of the state and federal law for automobile repair and consumer protection

You Have:

• Two or more years of previous experience as a service advisor
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license
• Ability to work well in a process driven environment
• Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written
• Ability to work: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM and some Saturdays are required
