Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center in California seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant for the Subacute Unit. You will assist with daily living activities, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe environment under the direction of the RN in charge.

Applicants should have a current BLS, a CNA certificate (preferred), knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute care hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, preferred.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
