Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools is seeking a Custodian to perform general cleaning and custodial duties at multiple facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas, plus setup and takedown for events and good customer service to event attendees. Starting wage is $22.11 per hour.

Hours vary by building needs; opportunities for additional hours may arise. English communication and dependable performance are essential; this position is not benefit

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial and cleaning duties throughout school, activity center and stadium.
• Clean and maintain assigned school areas including classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
• Setup/takedown permits for private, athletic, school activity, community or special events.
• Monitor event and provide customer service to event/permit holder to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout event for all visitors.
• Assist in securing the building during or at the end of shift.
