Job Title: Substitute Teacher – St. Charles
Department: St. Labre Indian Catholic School
Reports To: Building Principal
FLSA Status: Nonexempt – 9 month position, TEMP
Salary:$15.71/hour
Approved Date: 07/01/2022

SUMMARY
Fills in as substitute teacher when necessary by performing the duties listed below. Assists students with class work in the Student Support Center when not performing substitute teacher duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Indicates the non-essential duties and responsibilities. Nothing in this job description restricts St. Labre's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

1. Substitutes for regular teaching staff as assigned by the principal.
2. Provides individual help to students as assigned by the principal.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.E.)
Applicable teaching certification preferred.

  3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students and staff.
  4. Ability to deal effectively with questions or problems, seeking assistance when needed.

  7. Commitment to the mission of the Roman Catholic Church in Native American education.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Applicable teaching certification preferred.
Valid Montana drivers license.
