Marion Independent School District in Marion, Iowa is seeking a Sub Food Service Delivery/District Courier Driver to support daily delivery and retrieval of food supplies, equipment, and materials to multiple school sites.
This on-call role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy items. Duties include loading and unloading, delivering meals, handling interoffice mail, and assisting in food service kitchens as needed.

Basic Function: To support the District by providing prompt and regular delivery and retrieval on a daily basis of Food supplies or equipment, warehouse supplies, furniture, equipment, textbooks, etc to various locations throughout the School District.
Hours: On-call hours

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel objects, tools or controls; talk and hear. The employee frequently must squat, stoop or kneel, reach above the head and forward. The employee continuously uses hand strength to grasp items. The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person while performing the duties of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move heavy food carts and transport any cases of items for delivery to other schools. The employee will sometimes push/pull items such as tables and carts. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly.
