Absolute Lock and Security in Newhall, CA is searching for a commercial Sub-Contractor Locksmith Technician to work in Tampa, FL. This is a contract position requiring locksmith skills, low-voltage electrical work, problem-solving, and basic carpentry. Compensation is a competitive pay rate per job completed.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide locksmith services for commercial locations.
2. Recommend industry best practices for locking devices and hardware.
3. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and components.
4. Install, repair, and re-key cylinders; evaluate and repair door locks; perform maintenance promptly.

Qualifications

1. Current State Locksmith documentation (if required).
2. Proficiency in locksmith services including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of locks.
3. Ability to re-key and repair desks and file cabinets.
4. Ability to cut keys by code.
5. Experience with commercial panic/exit hardware.
6. Low voltage work experience preferred.
7. Experience with door closers.
8. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
9. Ability to work independently and drive efficiently to job sites.
