Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in natural or engineering sciences or a similar discipline.
  • At least 8 years of industry experience.
  • 3–5 years in a diagnostics development environment.
  • Proven line management experience.
  • Deep experience in Diagnostics product development activities.
  • Thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems.
  • Broad knowledge of R&D and related processes.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Balance between compliance, efficiency, and risk-taking.
  • Ability to navigate a changing organization strategically.
  • Respect for differences of opinion, fairness, open communication, and consensus-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Design Control Excellence US Subchapter.
  • Coordinate process support activities with stakeholders.
  • Organize work packages within timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Manage project-related interactions with R&D Networks and other global/local functions
  • Drive efforts to gain efficiency within development projects.
  • Identify, communicate, manage, and escalate project issues and risks in a timely manner.
  • Design and optimize team members’ personal professional journeys.
  • Coach direct reports and collaborate closely with global peers.
  • Hire and train new staff and ensure state-of-the-art technical know-how.
  • Lead process enhancement activities.
  • Integrate organizational change management activities.
