Job summary

Singer Vehicle Design is seeking a Sub Assembly Technician for our Torrance, CA facility. You will test, modify, rebuild, and assemble components for Singer vehicles with a focus on precision and quality.

This onsite role emphasizes teamwork and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of automotive-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; certifications are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of related work experience in automotive restoration, manufacturing or assembly environments.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Bonus points for Certifications and/or technical automotive program graduate.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

• Test, modify, rebuild, and assemble components to be installed into Singer vehicles in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important”
• Handle delicate vehicle components
• Perform repetitive build-to-inventory tasks
• Work in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrates the ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals

What You’ll Do:

• Perform operational procedure according to required engineering specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Assist other team members as necessary
• Assist in special projects as required

Who We’re Looking For:

• Our ideal candidate is eager to learn, self-driven, detail-oriented, and has demonstrated success working with a team towards a common goal with proven results
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Two (2) to four (4) years of related work experience in an automotive (chassis/ parts), restoration, manufacturing and or assembly environment
• Bonus points for Certifications and/or technical automotive program graduate

Location & Schedule:

This is an onsite role in Torrance, CA and the schedule is Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm plus overtime

The starting pay range for this position is between $26.13 - $29.35 per hour, plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
