Job summary

Regis Corporation’s Smartstyle salon in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Stylist in Training for a temporary 90-day program. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the business while delivering outstanding customer service and completing your Cosmetology School training to become licensed in your state.

As a trainee you may be promoted to a stylist once you obtain your license. Promotion is not guaranteed. To be considered, you’ll apply for the stylist position with Smartstyle after licensure.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to use POS systems and work in a fast-paced salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer the phone, and contribute to a welcoming salon atmosphere.
• Learn business operations and assist in controlling expenses by observing senior stylists.
• Maintain salon cleanliness and follow safety standards.
