STYLIST IN TRAINING

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Learn how to grow the business and control expenses by observing stylists and managers.
• Greet customers and answer the phone—your smile is your logo.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards; keep the salon organized.

Potential for promotion to a stylist position once licensed. Promotion is not automatic; you must earn it by applying for the stylist position with Supercuts.

HOW TO GET PROMOTED TO A STYLIST

To be considered, you must: 1) possess a valid license in your state; 2) perform duties allowed by your license, including cutting, styling, coloring, waxing, washing, and perming hair; and 3) demonstrate Regis values of honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain necessary licenses within or before 90 days of hire.
• Good judgment, time management, and desire to work in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Tech-savvy and able to use point-of-sale systems.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to 10 lbs; occasionally lift 10-25 lbs to unload shipments.
• Stand for most of the day.
• Read, write, and perform basic math.
• Availability for mandatory meetings and overnight travel.
