Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to engage guests on the shop floor and in the fitting rooms, driving sales through strong guest service and compelling visual merchandising. You will maintain an inviting sales floor, understand assortment, and support replenishment across the store.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store.
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies and basic visual merchandising
• Industry trends including style, seasonality, and brand differentiation
• Set, fill, and price the floor according to what is most important to the guest

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor with visual standards and signing.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, move merchandise to the floor, and locate items in backroom.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience.
• Maintain product availability through priority fills and merchandising.
• Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes including signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
