Job summary

Target in College Station, TX is hiring a Style Consultant to help guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room. You’ll keep the floor stocked, priced, and signed, and you’ll deliver a welcoming shopping experience.

This role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with opportunities to learn about merchandising, operations, and guest-first culture.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards and signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory ownership to support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight and push freight to the salesfloor, locating merchandise in the backroom as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
