Job summary

Target in New York seeks a Style Consultant to help guests on the sales floor and in the fitting rooms, delivering a standout guest experience through strong operations and compelling visual merchandising. In this fast-paced retail role you will greet customers, stock and price merchandise, and support guest services with a friendly, proactive approach.

The position offers flexible hours and an hourly rate of $18.75 USD.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products
• Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Effective communication skills
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly
• Capability to lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally 44 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory ownership
• Sort truck freight and locate merchandise in the backroom
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills
• Execute backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests
• Remerchandise presentations as products sell through
• Support price change processes with signing
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome guests
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise to the floor
• Adhere to safety policies and ethical conduct
• Assist guest services such as back-up cashier, OPU and Drive-up
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests
• All other duties as needed
