Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant to provide an energetic guest experience on the sales floor and fitting room. You will help guests, keep the floor stocked and visually engaging, and support daily store operations with a team-first approach.

You will learn merchandising standards, assist with pricing and promotions, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while staying guest-focused and reliable.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and a guest-first mindset.
• Retail fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, pricing and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and keep a guest-ready floor by following visual standards and ensuring correct pricing.
• Use store tools to analyze sales and inventory to resolve guest needs.
• Sort freight and move merchandise to the salesfloor and backroom as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by prioritizing fills and merchandising.
• Keep backroom organized to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise items as they sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Assist with price changes and signage during merchandising cycles.
• Maintain fitting rooms as welcoming spaces for guests.
• Move merchandise from fitting rooms back to the salesfloor to fulfill guest needs.
• Demonstrate safety, ethics and compliance at all times.
• Work safely and comply with all safety policies and training; report hazards.
