Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking team members for first shift to support packaging and processing operations in Wisconsin. The role covers setup, tearing down and operation of stuffers and related equipment, ensuring meat is consistently loaded on tables and conveyors, and performing routine housekeeping and safety tasks.

Ideal candidates will be able to perform basic math, adapt to rotating duties, and comply with GMP, SQF, and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for covering, sanitizing, cleaning, and preparing equipment for use in various departments.

Responsibilities & Knowledge

• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.

• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
• Perform any other work as assigned by management.
• Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.
• Must be willing and able to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.
• The Team Member will use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.
• The Team Member will use both hands to work.
• The Team Member will stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours.
• The Team Member will flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
• The Team Member will work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
• The Team Member will distinguish between shades and/or colors.

Preferred Skills

• Machine Operator experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• RF Scanner experience preferred
